Exploring inter-generational relationships are integral to AgeSong’s Central Vision. The first vision statement, composed by Nader Shabahangi, AgeSong founder, emphasizes the organization’s interest in inter-generational issues. He says, “We redefine aging as providing us with the possibility to mature into the role of the wise elder.”

SFMOMA will be holding a window display contest highlighting The Modern Ball, beginning on April 11. The display will be right at the corner of Laguna & Hayes (inside the widows of Cafe Create). The theme is “AgeSong is a Hands-On Community.” Residents have made ceramic hands which each hold something that is of value to them.

AgeSong at Bayside Park is pleased to announce that we have a doctor in the house. Dr. Tyrone E. Snipes, D.O., will be available for consultation in Bayside’s Wellness Center on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to noon in the massage area. He will provide coordinated care with previous and specialty physicians, primary care, internal medicine, review of medications, annual physical check-up and follow-up visits.
