AgeSong Maps Out the Neighborhood

locating favorite spots….

setting out…

touring the Bread Project and Cocoa Delice

beards, too…
trekking back home…
It started out on the first warm spring day.  Everyone wanted to be outside, to feel the sunshine, to move. Dinah Bailes, AgeSong COO, came up with the name ECO-Trek.  Raoul Rodriguez, dining room staff, drew the logo. Jack and I took photos of storefronts and found a grabber to pick up debris on our treks. Ed loaded Audubon Society material onto his wheels. We made Furoshiki Bags to hold our water bottles, and off we went…and haven’t stopped trekking. Every morning residents of AgeSong at Bayside Park walk around the block.  Now we are expanding our vision, exploring new places, meeting our neighbors, plotting buildings on the map, so artfully rendered by Dave Kim.  The Commissioner gave us his blessing. The Chamber of Commerce and City Hall support ECO-Trek: Elders on the move…
