Furoshiki Wrapping Shoulder Bag
This Tuesday, May 5, residents of AgeSong at Bayside Park will be making Furoshiki bags to carry water bottles for the ECO-Trek launch. Elders at Bayside Park are taking a lead in cleaning up the environment and staying healthy. They shall walk around the neighborhood, picking up debris on the sidewalk and visiting local merchants who have prepared samples of goodies for the ECO-Trek launch.
Furoshiki (風呂敷, furoshiki) are a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that were frequently used to transport clothes, gifts, or other goods. They are ecological because they can be used over and over again. MORE…
